English as a Second Language


In the morning, the Vietnamese teachers teach the new program of Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. In the afternoon, the kids will study the Intensive English program with either native or Vietnamese teachers.

Especially in the curriculum, the focus is on the method of Montessori and life skills that promote self – reliance, creative thinking ability and confidence of the child, the program music, Intelligent Early Childhood Education Method and Logical Thinking Method.

The new programme of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam:

Children can play freely, create whatever they like; actively promote their thinking ability. Children are the centre, and teachers are the instructors. Teachers can flexibly change the topics depending on children’s interest.

Topics in the programme are: Family – Kindergarten – Myself – Animals – Plants – Transportation – Occupation – Natural phenomena … which help create holistic development in 5 aspects:

Physical Development (Physical education – Health & Nutrition Education)

Cognitive Development (Mathematics – Science / Discover the surrounding environment)

Language and Literacy Development (Storytelling, poetry reciting …)

Social & Emotional Development (Music – Virtue education)

Aesthetic Development (Drawing, Molding, Tearing and sticking, Coloring …)

+ Intensive English Programme:

The programme is conducted by native teachers (British / American) and Vietnamese teachers. Teachers are highly qualified and mastered in early childhood education.

Duration: 30 minutes/class

Intensity: 5 classes/week (2 classes by native teachers, 3 classes by Vietnamese teachers)

Employ ‘Little Friends’ and ‘First Friends’ books published by Oxford University Press, combining with the English programme for preschool compiled by the school.

+ Montessori Method:

In order to promote children’s self-reliance and creativity, the school lets the students daily use the Montessori learning tools, which are divided into five fields and guided by trained teachers.

Life Skills – Communication skills and tools using

Senses – Hearing, Smell, Taste, Touch and Sight

Language – Reading, writing

Mathematics – Numeracy

Culture – Geography, Biology, Environment, Science …

+ Life Skills

It is a part of the Montessori method which is the most concern of the school to develop children’s practical skills.

The school focuses on teaching daily skills for children such as communication skill, greeting, posture, listening skills, presentation skills, etc.

The special teaching tools are arranged in sets and themes (tongs, knives, spoons, forks, needles).
